Sales Terms and Conditions

Prices

Prices stated in our Price List are in Euro (€), VAT is not included and will be added to your order. Prices stated apply only to the actual goods; they don’t include extra costs such as customs duty, shipping expenses etc.

Shipping Expenses

Shipping expenses are calculated automatically and added to the order on the basis of weight/volume. Customs duty will be added for those countries where the goods need to go through customs; shipping expenses must be agreed before placing the order as there could be restrictions to the trade of our goods.

Shipping Carriers

For Italy goods will be delivered by SDA. For the rest of the world goods will be delivered as follows: by TNT for ground transit, and by SDA (through FedEx) by air. You can track your shipment by linking to www.eboost.it for goods sent by SDA and www.tnt.it for goods sent by TNT.

Invoicing

The invoice is the document that will follow the goods. For further explanations you can read the part “Sales Invoice.

Delivery Address

In the section, “How to place your order” you are requested to state if you wish to receive your goods to an address different from your billing or invoiced address. It’s very important that there will be someone to receive the goods, otherwise it will be sent back with additional shipping costs.

Payments

Payments can be made in several ways: by bank transfer;  with your credit card through Moneta on line (Intesa San Paolo); or by PayPal. After you have arranged your payment, please send us an e-mail to info@lacucinadelloziogiorgio.com so that we can trace it and start preparing your goods for shipment.

Renunciation

Legislative Decree n. 206 dtd September 6 2005, is applied only to a natural person, (www.parlamento.it/leggi/deleghe/05206dl.htm). The decree states that the goods bought can be returned within 10 days from receipt. In order to learn how to access renunciation, please read the part Renunciation/Order Cancellation.

Privacy

Legislative Decree n. 196 dtd June 30 2003 (www.parlamento.it/parlam/leggi/deleghe/03196dl.htm).  In order to fulfil your order, by law we need your consent to handle your personal data (Privacy Law). Therefore, when submitting your order you will be asked to give your consent.

Orders from non European Countries

Orders placed from non European Countries, must agree to evaluate shipping and extra expenses before placing an order. Please send and e-mail to info@lacucinadelloziogiorgio.com with the list of products you wish to buy and we will quickly respond, giving you all additional costs. VAT will not be included in the order since you may be charged by customs with your local taxes. Food cannot be sent to the US.

Applicable Law

The sales contract by the customer and Golosità Italiane srl is settled in Italy and ruled by Italian laws.

Responsibility Restrictions

Golosità Italiane srl is not responsible for errors or omissions in its web site or any other site which it is referred or linked to. In no case Golosità Italiane is responsible for any damage, specific, accidental, indirect o consequent, or whatsoever damage, including with no limitation those resulting from loss of data, profits or under any responsibility theory, should emerge or should be in connection with the use, the information or the transmission of information. Information contained in this web site may have technical inaccuracy or of any other nature, or mistyping errors. Golosità Italiane s.r.l. will periodically review the information and/or improve its own web site at any time and changes will have effect when they will be published. Its responsibility will be to evaluate the accuracy, completeness and utility of every option, notice, service, goods and other information supplied through its web site. Golosità Italiane srl does not grant that its web site will not suffer from black-outs or that will be error free, or that these errors will be corrected.

Renunciation

(Order Cancelling)

If you wish to cancel your order that has been already confirmed by us but not yet shipped, please send us an email to info@lacucinadellozioigiorgio.com.

If you have already paid, we will return your money directly on your credit card and we will confirm this with you in writing.

If the order has been already fulfilled and you have received it, you may avail yourself of “Renunciation”, according to Legislative Decree n. 206 dtd September 6 2005.

Please follow this procedure:

• Within ten (10) days from receipt of the goods, you will need to send us a Registered Return Letter addressed to: Golosità Italiane srl – Via Franco Sacchetti, 127 – 00137 Roma (Italy) (also send an email to info@lacucinadelloziogiorgio.com) informing us that you wish to avail yourself of “Renunciation”.
• We will give you a code number authorising the return of the goods. You will need to write this number on the label, on the upper left side, together with our address.
• You will then need to send us the goods, at your expense, to our address in Rome – Via Casal Boccone 256 – 00137 Roma (Italy), stating the invoice number to which the goods refer. We will not accept goods on FOB or Ex-Factory basis.
• The goods that you return must be carefully packed in its original packaging, to avoid damage during transportation.

After receiving the goods we will check them and we will inform you if any damage occurred in order to return partially or totally the amount paid. We will issue the refund to you within 14 days from receiving the goods. The money will be sent to the person that was invoiced after having received the corresponding bank data necessary to arrange the refund.

The Renunciation right cannot be applied to perishable goods or to goods that due to their nature cannot be substituted.

Before you accept the goods from the carrier please make sure that:

• The number of parcels correspond to those stated in the shipping documents
• The package is intact, not damaged, wet or otherwise altered.

If any of the above should occur, please express an objection to the carrier and write your objections on the shipping documents, informing us immediately to our email address at: info@lacucinadelloziogiorgio.com.

How to register

You will be asked to register the first time you place an order. As your first order is completed you will be asked to create a new account and the data requested is:

Complete name, address, delivery address (if different) VAT number of Fiscal code.

For future orders you will only have to log-in.

Ordering

Please follow this simple step by step procedure to place your order:

• From the catalogue choose the products you wish to purchase
• Click BUY NOW. You will be shown the list of products you ordered and you will need to select the quantity for each product you wish to buy
• Complete the form with your data; this is necessary to issue the invoice and the shipping documents
• State clearly if you want the products sent to an address different from the invoice address
• Choose how you wish to pay: by banker transfer, Moneta online or by PayPal
• Click on CHECKOUT
• If you wish to cancel your order that has been confirmed but not yet shipped, please send us an email or by fax to the Italian number +39 0687139195. We will send you confirmation of receipt of your request to cancel the order
• We will send you an order confirmation each time we receive an order from you

The first time that you place an order with us, we will ask you to register and we will use this data  to issue the invoice and the shipping documents.

Please complete your data with an email address and a telephone number where we can contact you to give you information concerning your order and shipment.

Product Availability

Products are available as in stock unless otherwise indicated.

Some products are sold on request. In this case please send us your order by email and we will agree on payment and availability.
